Paying for Your Exam
There is no separate payment step. The $15 examination fee is paid when booking a time slot on the schedule, and the schedule is the only place where an examination is paid for.
Payment Requirements
- The same email address must be used for booking, payment and registration. A different address is the most common reason a booking cannot be matched to its payment.
- The fee is non-refundable. It is forwarded to the ARRL VEC and is not retained by PARC, so it cannot be refunded after booking.
- The FCC application fee is separate. It is paid later, directly to the FCC, not to PARC.
Alternative Payment Arrangements
Alternative payment arrangements are rare and are initiated only by the exam team. Candidates who have been contacted about an alternative arrangement should email vetesting@yahoo.com to receive payment instructions and a payment link.
Do not send a payment that has not been requested, and do not use a payment link that was not provided directly by the exam team.
Donations are separate from examination fees and are handled through PayPal.
